Pinna launches Podcasters U, a series of podcasts for budding young creators

Podcasters U is a fun and interactive series of seven episodes for young creators looking to learn more about what it takes to create their own podcast. The first episode, How to make a podcast, is available today and guides listeners through tips on scripting, recording and editing their own podcast. Each subsequent episode will introduce kids to different types of podcasting (scripted fiction, interview-based, game show, and informational), techniques, and feature special guest talent in front and behind the mic. After the first episode, the podcast will start rolling out new episodes every week from June 6and. All episodes will be free to listen to and available exclusively on Pinna with a Basic or Full-Access plan and on Apple Podcasts.

For convenient interaction, the podcast will be accompanied by printable resources as well as live coaching events throughout the summer months with the Pinna team to help support creators with their own podcasts. All information for parents and teachers has been made available via the Podcasters U resource center on the Pinna Blog including suggested tools and equipment, best practices for recording at home, free audio toolkit, video tutorial, script templates, and more. In an effort to inspire young listeners to become podcast creators, kids can submit their final audio production, show off art and behind-the-scenes footage to Pinna to possibly be presented on the Pinna application.

“We’re always striving to develop new ways to innovate in the podcast space and are excited to share tips and tools in this new series that will inspire kids to create and produce their own stories,” said Maggie. McGuire, CEO of Pinna. “At Pinna, we are committed to stimulating the imagination and creative vision of children. We are excited to see what young creators produce and to help them share their stories with the world.”
