AMG Performance Luxury Audio – GT-inspired carbon fiber stereo, with the car’s real exhaust tips

You’ve seen the AMG office chair, now discover the perfect match for the RM16k seat, the AMG Performance Luxury Audio – the world’s first and only hi-fi system to bear the AMG name.

Inspired by the AMG GT, this 15 kg speaker was co-designed by AMG designers and Italian audio system manufacturer iXOOST. Its official price has not been revealed, although customers are encouraged to apply on the official iXOOST website.

With a full carbon fiber body, the sides are fitted with the original AMG GT exhaust tips with active bass-reflex, for a 360-degree sound experience. To further mimic the look of the real car, the rear section even comes with a rear diffuser.

Up top, the familiar AMG nameplate is adorned with iXOOST branding instead of the usual AMG branding while the air vents have been inspired by those on the front bonnet of the AMG GT Black Series. The entire system rests on a plinth milled from a solid block of aluminium.

The AMG Performance Luxury Audio features two woofers and tweeters behind the aluminum grille, while two additional tweeters and bass-reflex pump and roar the factory AMG GT exhaust tips. At the heart of the audio system is a digital signal processor (DSP) that equalizes and perfects any input it receives via Bluetooth.
